Biography
Dr. Flax pursued medicine because it allowed him to combine his love of science with the opportunity to help people. As an oncologist, he believes in the importance of educating his patients about their diagnosis and their care options. He strives to help his patients navigate the benefits and risks of each treatment while individualizing the shared decision-making process to each patient.
Dr. Flax is married and has two grown children. He also has a dog, his third Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. His main hobbies are travelling, cooking, golfing, reading, and exercising.
