Biography

Laurie Houck Hudson, FNP-BC, is a board-certified nurse practitioner at Shenandoah Oncology with a clinical interest in oral oncolytic therapies. Laurie comes from a family of healthcare professionals—her mother was a nurse, while both her father and brother were physicians. Her ties to Shenandoah Oncology are strong, as her father was a founding MD at the practice. Laurie believes in empowering her patients through education and support resources, prioritizing clear communication.

Laurie is married with one teenage daughter. She also has two dogs, a Doberman and a bulldog. She is an active member of her church, which she has been attending her whole life. She enjoys working out and being active, and her interests include exploring nutrition and exercise routines.
