Biography

Kendra Atherton, FNP-BC, is a board-certified nurse practitioner at Shenandoah Oncology who has a clinical interest in female malignancies. Prior to receiving her family nurse practitioner certification, Kendra worked as a nurse for a gynecologic oncologist who mentored her and encouraged her to pursue a career as an advanced practitioner. She believes in patient-centered care and prioritizes providing the quality of care she would want her own family members to receive.

Outside of work, Kendra enjoys spending time with her family.
